More images to follow – a new sculptural bench celebrating the new leisure centre in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire, in particular the swimming pool. The sculpture has a FLAT top surface – the pattern is an optical illusion of depth and will be made from silver granite with polished black granite inlays. Funding for the leisure centre came from a £20m government Levelling Up Fund grant and the building will have swimming pools, a fitness suite, squash courts, creche, a children’s play area and a café.
