In the late 1980s, while attending the Wimbledon Foundation course, I took it upon myself to create a painted artwork on the college roof using household paint and two large wooden planks. I am unsure whether this marked the beginning of my printmaking practice or my development as a public artist. Unfortunately I didn’t exhibit these photographs in my final course exhibition, thinking it would have consequences.
