The image in the animation sequence shows the base of The Shukhov Radio Tower. The structure also known as the Shabolovka Tower, is a broadcasting tower deriving from the Russian avant-garde in Moscow designed by Vladimir Shukhov. The 160-metre-high free-standing steel diagrid structure was built between 1920 and 1922, during the Russian Civil War.

Employing software that enables forms to animate and morph dictated by an audio’s behaviour, including pitch and levels, the ovals ‘rotate’ to the treble and bass of Chatter by Lusine from the 2017 album, Sensorimotor.
