The narratives found in these artworks are a common thread found in Tom’s work and stem from an explorative and humorous approach to subject matters such as cinema, pop art science fiction and low-tech special effects. These artworks employ bespoke machines to display ambiguous ‘data’ and emit audio that originate from a digital oscilloscope audio parameter behaviour software and a digital Moog synthesizer.
